She was predeceased by: her husband John Garnett Walker; her parents, Deane M. Parrish and Elizabeth C. Parrish; her grandparents, Dr. E. M. Copenhaver and Susan Sheffey Copenhaver; and her siblings, Caroline Seager and Dean Parrish.
She is survived by: her children, Caroline Walker Brant of Wytheville and John G. Walker, Jr. (Tamalyn) of Florence, S. C.; her grandchildren, Rosemary Hancock (David) of Wytheville and Travis Coleman Walker (Heather) of Florence, S. C.; and also Mary Ann Trivitt of Chilhowie.
