He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sheets and Evelyn Lowery. He is survived by: the mother of his children Dixie Sheets of Marion; his children, Amanda Sheets Alsbrook (Rick) of Claypool Hill and Marcus Sheets of Marion; and his siblings, Patty Thompson (Mike) of Glade Spring and Edward Sheets (Joan) of George Town, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
