He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Lake Smith Sr. and Vergie Ribble Callahan Smith; and also Filmore Marlin Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Mattie Belle Smith Walters of Wytheville and Andrew Lake "Andy" Smith Jr. (Debbie) of West Virginia; and his nieces and nephews, Jason Marlin Smith (Jessa), Faith Miche'Smith, Virginia Ann Smith Arnold, William Steven Lake Smith (Elizabeth), Douglas "Gray" Walters and Jesse Neil Walters.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Community Cemetery.
