He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry C. Jones and Georgia Irene Snavely Jones; his wife Dreama Dixon Jones; his son James "Jamie" Jones; and his siblings, Hazel McFarlane, Ruth Henderson, Henry "June" Jones, Roy Jones, Ray Jones, Frank Jones, C. R. JonesSteve and Pepper.
He is survived by: his children, Robbie Jones (Jenny) of Christiansburg, VA and Darlene Robinson of Atkins, VA; his grandchildren, Hunter Jones, Alyson Smith and Grayson Jones; and his siblings, Margaret Anders of Marion, VA, Walter Jones of Atkins, VA, Harold Jones of Atkins, VA and Ernest Jones of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
