He is survived by: his sibling Jessie Ashford; his son Lohen G. Ashford (Gloria); his siblings, Robert Ashford Sr. (Rusteen) of Birmingham, AL, Dr. Rowell Ashford Sr. (Rosemary) of Nashville, TN, Hazel A. Nunnally of Hixon, TN, Margorie Alexander of Chicago, IL and Johnnie Bell A. Ross of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Damian Ashford of Greensboro, NC, Adrian Ashford (Christina) of Suwanee, GA and Jasmine Ezell (Troy) of Ashburn, VA; and his great grandchildren, Aria Rose Ashford, Clinton Dean Ashford and Harper Joyce Alfreda Ezell.
