It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Clark (Marion, Virginia), born in Clinchburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 23, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Nelson and Minnie King Nelson; her former husband Staley L. Osborne; her husband Kenneth Clark; and her siblings, Lucille Munch, Walter "Shorty" Nelson, Edward "Ed" Nelson, Alvice "Red" Nelson, Dorothy Trump and Elizabeth Pruitt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Roberts (Mike) of Rural Retreat and Donna Pennington (Rick) of Marion; her grandchildren, Michael Roberts, Chris Roberts, Mark Pennington, Daniel Pennington and Ricky Pennington; her great grandchildren, Landon, Austin, Tanner, Kaelyn, Kaylee, Braxton, Layla, Lawson, Willow and Owen; her brother Robert Nelson (Dorothy) of Columbia, SC; and her daughter Margaret Davis. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many friends.
