It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherman Lee Townley (Marion, Virginia), born in Bland, Virginia, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Frank Townley. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jo Townley; his children, Mike "Minner" Townley, Bryan "Pooch" Townley and Kim Townley; and his granddaughters, Anna and Amber. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be appreciated, or donations may be made to the Francis Marion V.F.W. Post 4667 or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
