We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2023, at the age of 66, Samuel F. Akers (Marion, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Akers and Josephine Akers; and his sisters, Donna Gale Daniels and Frances Lahoma Akers. He is survived by: his wife Kathi L. Akers; his daughter Sandra Akers; his siblings, Audrey Coleman (David), Roger Akers (Karen) and Greg Akers (Debbie); his siblings-in-law, Sherry Marshall and Carter "Slick" Marshall, Jr.; his niece Miranda Jones (Scotty); his close friends, Charlie, Melody Hogston, Robbie, Lynn Williams, Gene, Lea Horney and Dave; his grandmother White (Mark Cantamessa); and his pet Speedy.
