It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Smith (Marion, Virginia), who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Stallard and Hester Stallard; and her sister Mary Lou Hamm. She is survived by: her husband Garry Smith; her daughter Tracy McCarty (Jonathan); her grandson Jackson of Bristol Tenn; and her sister Jeanie Minor (Roy) of Newton, N. C.. She is also survived by her family for being a best friend.
