He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Benson; his children, Robert Benson, Lora Benson, John Benson, Rhonda Benson and Candy Benson; his stepdaughter Tineke Synder; and his siblings, Glenn Boggs, John Boggs, Mariann Gilman and Shelly Johnson. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
