It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Lee Petty (Marion, Virginia), who passed away on June 9, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Petty and Mabel Dean Petty; and his half-brothers, Charles Petty and R. M. Petty. He is survived by: his children, Bobby Lee Petty (Vicky) of Marion, Rhonda Petty of Marion, Kenny Petty (Lori) of Marion and Pam Petty of Wytheville; his grandchildren, Hunter Propst (Katelyn), Keegan, Kristyn Petty, Lexi and Collin Petty; his great grandchild Audree Propst; his siblings, Harold Petty (Barbara) of Wake Forest, NC and Charlotte Pickle of Salem; his significant other Liz Parks; his significant other's daughter Ellen Prater (David); his close friends, Bobby, Mickey and Les Whitt; and also Gage.
