It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roberto Catalan (Marion, Virginia), who passed away on April 22, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelio Catalan and Maria Isada Catalan; his brother Cornelio Catalan, Jr.; and his son-in-law Eric Lerner. He is survived by: his wife Manolita Ortiz Catalan, MD; his grandchildren, Chanel, Maya, Alexis, Brianna, Dominic, Braeden, Zachary, Aiden, Daniel and Sarah; his great grandchild Wolf; and his siblings, Eufrosina Tan (Wenceslao), Gabriel Catalan (Gale), Gloria Nuval (Jun) and Emmanuel Catalan (Marissa). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at St. John's Catholic Church in Marion with Rev. Francis Musolooza officiating with limited seating availability due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Flowers will be accepted, or in place of flowers, donations can be made in the memory of Bert Catalan to St. John's Catholic Church, 124 Park Boulevard, Marion, Virginia 24354.
