It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Howell of Marion, Virginia, born in Glade Spring, Virginia, who passed away on February 5, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred A. Howell and Trula S. Howell White; his former wife Emogene Howell; and his siblings, Charles Howell, James Howell, Kenny Howell, Mary J. Meade and Patricia E. Howell Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy May Howell of Marion, Virginia.; his sons, James Howell and Fred Howell of Jenks, Oklahoma; his siblings, Regina F. Surber (James) and David Howell of Chilhowie Virginia; his niece Linda K. Colquitt of Bristol; his sister-in-law Eva Hutton (James "Odie" Hutton) of Chilhowie, Virginia.; and his close friend Karen Anderson. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
