He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Mary Belle Tibbs, Luther and Gay Blevins; his uncle Charles Blevins (Jody); and his cousins, Blake Dunavan and Kim Blevins.
He is survived by: his parents, Darrell Tibbs and Phyllis Blevins Tibbs; his brother Luke Tibbs; his aunt Michelle "Shelley"; and his uncle Randy Shelton. He is also survived by aunts, uncles & cousins; so many beloved & close friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fraziers' Seaver-Brown Chapel (237 E Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. Brian then moved to Florida where he worked for six years before returning home to Marion becoming the Executive Director of the Lincoln Theatre for five years until Covid temporarily closed the doors.
