He is survived by: his wife Marion E. Pilcher; his children, John R. Pilcher (Joni), Richards B. Pilcher, Jr. (Mary), Susan A. Hall (Daniel) and Sandra M. Alpher (Aaron); his grandchildren, Richards B. Pilcher, III (Ashley), Casey J. Pilcher (Katrina), Tucker J. Hall, Allison M. Vargas (Patrick), Emily D. Peters (Jonathan) and Kayla M. Lay (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Bailey and Oliver Peters; and his sister Joyce A. Pilcher of West Virginia.
