He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Blevins; and his siblings, Ester Greer, Delores Greer, Yvonne Sturgill and Clifton Blevins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie B. Doane (Ricky) of Chilhowie and Annasue B. Cook (Geoffery) of Chilhowie; his grandchildren, Sam Doane (Aaryn, Caleb William) and Matthew Cook; his great grandchildren, Myles and Aiden; his siblings, Cecil Blevins (Loretta) of Chilhowie, Sylvia Freeman (Henry) of Marion and Maxine Olinger of Marion; and his brother-in-law Paul Sturgill. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Valley Health Care Center.
