He is survived by: his wife Marion Gregoire Hale; his children, Macy Hale Lenox (Michael) of Charlottesville and Jason Edward Hale of Bali; his siblings, Sherry Scruggs, Mike Hale (Jean) and Andy Hale (Judy); and his grandchildren, Benjamin Hale Lenox and Haley Virginia Lenox.
