He was predeceased by: his former wife Alma Teaster. He is survived by: his wife Robena Riggle Teaster; his children, Dewey Dean Teaster, Jr., Donna Whitt (Mike), Shirley Anderson (Dennis) and Rhonda Getman; his stepchildren, Jimmy Yontz (Kay), Fred Yontz (Claudette) and Tom Yontz (Jessica); and his sister Betty Walker (Johnny). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Faith Missionary Baptist Church School.
