She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Burns McClanahan and Mary Jane Blankenship McClanahan; her husband Lloyd "Tom" Clark Daniels; and her siblings, Bonnie Sue Tichenor, Virgus Blankenship, Arnold Buck McClanahan, Roger Ray McClanahan and Donald McClanahan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Ratliff (Kris) of Marion, VA and Elizabeth "Liz" Woodruff (James) of Lavonia, GA; her sisters, Beatrice Barnes of Highpoint, NC, Donna Mae Daniels of Big Rock, VA, Judy Gale Conn of Oakwood, VA and Linda Carol Potter of Grundy, VA.; her grandchildren, Kristopher Clark Ratliff, Addison Stewart Ratliff, Danielle Carson Schaefer, Bailey Catherine Ratliff and Kristin Michelle Woodruff; and her great grandchildren, Raegan Elizabeth Schaefer, Eleanor Anne Ratliff, Brigham Thomas Schaefer and Joseph Clark Ratliff. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shortridge Ramey Funeral Home of Oakwood (1020 Big Skeggs Road, Oakwood, VA 24631). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel, Keen Mountain.
