We bid farewell to Peggy Sawyers Simons of Marion, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 9, 2025 at the age of 88. Peggy Sawyers touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Sawyers and Thelma Poole Sawyers; her sister Nancy Bales; her daughter-in-law Susan Simons; and her nephew Tony Cirrilo.
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd "June" Simons; her sons, Rickey Simons, Mike Simons (Wanda) and Brian Simons (Linda); her siblings, Don Sawyers and Lynda Johnson; her grandchildren, Brandon Simons (Nancy), Brian Simons, Tracy Gates, Brittney Shelton (Aaron), Brandi Tolbert and Ryan Simons (Stacie); and her great grandchildren, Chase, Cole, Aiden, Hunter, Nicole, Trevor, Dillon, Oliver, Tessa, Matthew and Tyler.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bradley's Funeral Home (938 N Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rose Lawn Cemetery (4410 Lee Hwy, Marion, VA 24354).
