He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Sexton and Lessie Smith Sexton; his wife Mary Alice Sexton; and his siblings, Oscar Sexton, Wayne Sexton, Wilma Russell and Lena Reedy.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Sexton (Rhonda) and Rebecca Sexton; his grandsons, Kevin Sexton (Angie) and Brandon Sexton (Meredith); his great grandchild Holden Sexton; his siblings, Harvey Sexton, Frances Shupe and Shirley Wyatt; and his close friends, J. W. Dicks and Larry Miller. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
