It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Glass (Marion, Virginia), who passed away on October 21, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Preston "Red" Glass, Jr.; her parents, Ralph Vernon and Mabel Blevins Vernon; her daughters, Debbie Glass Blevins and Glenda Glass Bushnell; her sisters, Alta Vernon Hall and Edna Vernon Stump; and her grandparents, Robert, Mary Petty Vernon, Tom and Lura Barker Blevins.
She is survived by: her children, Susie Sprinkle (Marc), Ralph "Butch" Glass (Marla), Garnett "Petey" Glass, Mary Rippeon (Butch), Shirley Pennington (Jeff) and Joseph "Jody" Glass (Tonya); and her brother Jim Vernon (Dreama). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
