Helms of Marion, Virginia, born in Glade Spring, Virginia, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy B. Helms and Pearl Helms; his siblings, Mary Jo Price, Roslyn Holmes, Martha Hoots, Johnene Helms and Roy S. Helms; his siblings-in-law, Russell Price, Eugene Holmes and Anne Helms; his parents-in-law, J. C. and Maude Winesett; his sister Carol; his brother-in-law Tommy Barnett; and his pets, Hokie, Frisk and Freckles.
He is survived by: his nephew Andrew Holmes; his nieces, Martha Jo Price and Cindy Helms Hicks; his wife Sue Winsett Helms; and his brother-in-law Clyde Hoots. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
