She was predeceased by: her husband David C. Tilson; her parents, William Hughes and Margaret Hughes; and her siblings, Isabelle Hockett, Nancy Jones, Libby Overbay, Billy Ed Hughes and Mary Perry.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Foster and David Tilson (Carlene) of Abingdon; her daughter-in-law Karla Hughes of Marion; her siblings, Carolyn Buchanan of Marion, Pat McClure of Bristol, Sue Byrd of Marion and Jimmy Hughes of Chilhowie; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Chambers, Lois Bewley of Athens and Tessie Hughes of Marion; and her grandsons, Randy Johnson (Karen) of Forest, William Tilson (Jessica) of Chilhowie, Justin Hughes (Brittany) of Marion and Josh Hughes (Kelly) of Marion. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
