We bid farewell to Mae Barker of Marion, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 17, 2025 at the age of 80. Mae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Glen Barker and Ruth Stone Barker. She is survived by: her siblings, Patsy Barker of Sugar Grove, VA and Richard Barker (Bonnie) of Independence, VA; her nieces, Ruth Cornett (Gator) of Sugar Grove, VA and Paula Null (Jason) of Marion, VA; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauren Rentz, Isaac Ashlin, Leah Keyser and Luke Ashlin; her close friends, John Keyser (Brandi Cressell) and Debbie Brooks; her pet Charlie; and also, Shane Ashlin (Robin), Trey Cornett (Brooke) and Wilma Sheets (Stanley).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel (938 N Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent to Sugar Grove Fire and EMS.
