She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Colonel Everett and Edith Dexter Rice; her husband John Crombie Glenn; her children, Kathy Glenn Lewis (Ivan) of Aiken, SC, Mary Glenn Wire of Cary, NC and John Charles Glenn (Kim) of Chapel Hill, NC; her grandchildren, John Lewis (Lida), Rebecca Suits (Jacob), Brent Wire, Scott Wire, John Charles Glenn II, McKenzie Glenn, Allie Glenn, Carter Glenn and Madison Glenn; and her siblings, Amory D. Wade of Manassas, VA. and James MacDougal Rice.
