She is survived by: her husband Don Powell of Marion; her daughter Opal Mae Carrico (Richard); her siblings, Joann Severt of Independence and Kenneth Stump of Roanoke; her grandson Phillip Carrico (Mikayla) of Independence; her great grandchildren, Addilyn and River; and her friends, Carol Gross, Leon, Barbara Shelton, Pat Baldwin, Betty Story, Cathy Lowe and Barbara Harrington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
