She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Max and Cessie Reedy Waak; her husband Raymond Sherwood Cornett; her siblings, Shirley Waak, Max Ernest Waak and Margaret Waak Teaster; her children, Dana Cornett of Bridgewater and Avery Cornett (Lili Figueredo) of Marion; her siblings, Mary Lou Waak of Marion, Kenneth Waak of Marion and Cathy Waak Paul of Roanoke; and her grandchildren, Brooke Summerlin of Salem, Luisa Sease of Los Angeles, Calif and Camilo Henao of Marion. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
