He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ellen Thompson; his children, Jeffery Thompson, Murdoch Thompson (Deanna) and Rita McCaulley (James); his grandchildren, James McCaulley, Jr., Caleb McCaulley, Matthew Thompson, Morgan Epp (Alan) and Gavin Roe (Molly); his great grandchildren, Heaven and Shawn McCaulley; his siblings, Kenneth "Stuart" Thompson (Ruby) and Helen Quillen; and his sister-in-law Roxie M. Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
