He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee H. Cheek, Sr. and Flossie McKinney Cheek; his wife Bobbie Jean Staton Cheek; and his siblings, Lee A. Cheek, Jr. and Jean Hollifield.
He is survived by: his brother Ray Cheek (Reba) of Marion, NC; and his close friends, Kay Reid of Stoneville and Mickey Mabe of Stoneville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
