He was predeceased by: his wife Sara "Miss Fitz" Fitzpatrick; his parents, Homer Fitzpatrick and Hazel Fitzpatrick; and his siblings, Ruth Collins and Jim Fitzpatrick.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim Fitzpatrick (Cindy) of Woodbridge, Mark Fitzpatrick (Lorrie) of Chilhowie and Jon Fitzpatrick of Richmond; his grandchildren, Tom Fitzpatrick (Cara) of Denver and April Fitzpatrick (Kelly Callahan) of Richmond; his stepgrandchildren, Diana Mullins of Chilhowie and Steven Keith of Chilhowie; and his sister-in-law Mary Catherine Flythe of Springfield. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (115 S Church St, Marion, VA 24354). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
