He is survived by: his wife Deborah Dean; his children, Lisa Dean Gilbert of Elkin, NC, Dana Dean Crewey (Josh Crewey Sr.) of Rural Retreat, VA and Travis Dean of Marion, VA; his grandsons, Brian, Tyler Crockett, Joshua and Issac Crewey; his great grandchildren, AnnaLee, Georgia, Silas and Atticus Crockett; and his brother Garry Dean of Rural Retreat, VA. He is also survived by cousins, and nephews.
