He is survived by: his wife Susie Burkett of Marion; his children, Wendy Peters of Elizabethton, Tenn. and Michael Burkett of Marion; his siblings, Shirley Clark (Roger) of Bristol, Tenn. and Lee Burkett (Marie) of Fla; and his grandson Cody Burkett of Marion. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
