He is survived by: his children, Heather Combs (Eric) of Lincolnton, N. C. and Daniel Armstrong of Abingdon; his sisters, Julie Shortt (Lewis) of Chilhowie and Cindy Armstrong of Marion; his grandchildren, Sarah Greer and Matthew Combs; and his close friends, Diz, Pam, Marty, Rhonda, Keevise, Drew, Terry, Tripp, Bootsie, Amanda, Josh and Rusty. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews; and many friends.
