He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar "Buck" Smith and Virginia "Ginny" McGrady Smith. He is survived by: his close friend Darlene Dean of Marion; his cousins, April Mitchell (Billy) of Troutdale and Joe Harper of Troutdale; and his pet Miss Kitty.
