He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Scyphers and Maude Scyphers; and his siblings, Linda Scyphers and James Scyphers. He is survived by: his wife Farris Scyphers; his daughters, Belinda Kay Blevins (Mike) of Abingdon, VA and Joanne Berry (David) of Abingdon, VA; his sisters, Polly Hutton (James) of Marion, VA and Goldie Price; his nephew Steve of Abingdon, VA; his sister Ellen Reynolds of Meadowview, VA; and his stepchildren, Sandra Johnson of Troutdale, VA, Gary Pennington (Kristy) of Glade Spring, VA and Randy Pennington (Melody) of Chilhowie, VA. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his feathered friend.
