He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Shupe and Kate Shupe; his wife Janet Whisman Shupe; and his granddaughter Monique Shupe. He is survived by: his sons, John Preston Shupe, Jr. (Kathy) and Jeffery Shupe; his granddaughter Casey Shupe (Greg Harnett); his great grandchildren, Cole Jones, Reilly McCray and Breckon White; his sister Jane Colley (Helen Heffinger); and his close friend Tonia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors.
