He is survived by: his significant other Tammy Taylor; his children, Tina Taylor, Cheryl Taylor and John Edgar Holstein, Jr.; his wife Ginny of Culpepper, VA; his sister Rae H. Penn (Gary) of St. Matthews, SC; his grandchildren, Tommy Holstein, Mikey Holstein and Sarah Griffin; and also, Joseph William Holstein of Chilhowie, VA, LaDonna Lynn Holstein Griffin (Bryan) and Brittany Nicole Holstein of Chilhowie, VA.
