He was predeceased by: his father Jack Sims; his brother Gary Michael Sims; and his grandparents, Rebecca Jane Sims, James O. and Elma Jean Goodman.
He is survived by: his brothers, Joseph Simms (April) of Rural Retreat and James Sims of Marion; his nieces, Kenzie Simms and Kylie Simms; and his close friend Kevin "Ollie" Edgar. He is also survived by his friends and family.
