It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Blevins (Marion, Virginia), who passed away on June 29, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary M. Blevins; his granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Shiflett; and his siblings, Dudley Blevins, Leon Blevins, Bobby Blevins, James Blevins, David Howard Blevins and Sarah Jane Hash.
He is survived by: his children, John G. Blevins of Slidell, LA and Dan Shiflett of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren, Aaron Shiflett and Tara Shiflett; his great grandchildren, Aidan and Cora; and his siblings, Joe Blevins and Elizabeth "Biz" Blevins.
