With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Allen Little (Marion, Virginia), born in Blountville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 31, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth H. Little (Lizzy) and William H. Little (Chick); his sister Marie Ferguson; and his stepgrandson William Clinton Walker (Will). He is survived by: his wife June Little; his sons, Joe Allen Little (Kim) of Tampa, FL and Jeff Little (Angela) of Chilhowie; his grandchildren, Madison Little and Fallon Grinstead (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Gracie Mae Grinstead and Emery Kate Walker; his granddaughter-in-law Ashley Walker; and his siblings, William Eugene Little (Gene) and Rose Abelseth (Ray). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
One award he had the honor of accepting at the White House was for the National Foundation of The March of Dimes Distinguished Voluntary Leadership award for the fight against birth defects for his charitable service.
