He was predeceased by: his mother Annie Elizabeth Stump; his son Eddie Layne Martin; and his siblings, James Roscoe "Mickey" Stump, Lloyd Eugene Stump, John Charles Stump and Patricia Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Martin; his son Wesley Scott Martin (Stephanie); his sister Linda Bower (Roger); and his grandchildren, Lindsey Martin, Tyler Martin, Luke Martin and Tommy Martin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
