He is survived by: his wife Carolene Irvin of Marion; his daughter Melinda West (Harold) of Eatonton; his grandchildren, Chase West (Danielle) of Watkinsville and Chelsea West of Eatonton; his great grandchildren, Makayla and Darcy West of Watkinsville; his brother Dickey Irvin (Zella) of Wytheville; his sister-in-law Shirley Irvin of Sugar Grove; his stepchildren, Diane Halsey Phipps (Jackie) of Independence, David Halsey (Patricia Warren) of Marion and Jim Halsey (Sandra) of Abingdon; his stepgrandchildren, Ben Halsey (Autumn) of Marion, Whitney Untiedt of Miami, Fla., Kristin Untiedt-Barnett (Brandon) of Wytheville, Emily Halsey of Salem, Olivia and Seth Halsey of Abingdon; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mason of Marion, McKinley of Marion, Moxley Halsey of Marion and Avery Barnett of Wytheville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
