He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee Hampton and Lela Nora Morris Hampton; his wife Juanita Hampton; and his siblings, Herbert Hampton, Lake Taylor, Esther Hampton, Louise Hampton and Georgia Anderson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Kathleen Gilley and Lorraine Heath; and his brother-in-law Claude Heath. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial contributions can be made to the South Fork Baptist Church or to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
