He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Tuell Cook; his grandson James Luke Teaters; his siblings, Betty Jo Hawks, Lucille Blevins and Willie Cook; his nephews, Doug Cook and Randy Cook; and his niece Jane Blevins Powell.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Brian, Debbie, Logan Teaters, Lisa, Will Shuler, Lauryn, Laila Jackson, Melissa, George, Abby Jo, Jacob, Piper, Riley Bailey, Eric, Laurie, Josie and Silas Cregger; and also, Levi and Lance Teaters.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Jude's Children Hospital or to Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
