He is survived by: his children, Donnie Wassum (Mashasta) of Marion and Teresa Odum (Larry) of Tazewell; his stepchildren, David Sheets of Sugar Grove and Donna Anderson of Chilhowie; his sister Charlene Martin (Phil) of Enterprise, Ala.; his stepgreat-grandchild Jaiden Kirk; his friend Roger Hall of Chilhowie; and his close friends, Howard and Marie Dalton of Galax. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren.
