He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Barker and Verna Mae Barker; and his siblings, Edith Groseclose, June Barker, Gale Barker, Lois McCormick, Iris Catron, Frances Killinger and Juanita Barker.
He is survived by: his wife Tove Elizabeth Mikkleson Barker; his children, Tina Barker, Dolly Coleman, Carol, Ron Parsons, Annette and Bill Shuler; his grandchildren, Kara, Matthew, Caleb, Morgan, Lindsey and Brady; and his close friends, Jeannette and Selena. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
