She was predeceased by: her husband James Luther Peake; and her son Lanny Peake. She is survived by: her son Shon Peake (Tammy); her sister Pat Hall; her grandchildren, James Peake and Traci Peake; her great grandchildren, Lyric Peake and Walker Taylor; her sister Lucille Heath; her close friend Sharon Schrader; and also Wiley Colley, Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the children's program at Freedom Tabernacle Baptist Church.
