It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ida Cullop (Marion, Virginia), who passed away at the age of 91, on January 16, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thompson and Bessie Thompson; her husband Walter Raymond Cullop; and her siblings, Margie Barker, Nannie Vencille, Blaine Thompson and William.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Cullop of Sugar Grove and Rhonda Powers; her son-in-law Leon of Statesville; her grandchildren, Nichole Powers of Statesville, Brittany Powers of Mooresville, Corey Horton, Ashley of Marion and Kayla Cullop of Sugar Grove; her great grandchildren, Jaxon (Brittany), Gunner and Kolson; and her sister Carrine Harrington of Marion. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fraziers' Seaver-Brown Chapel (237 E Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Fraziers' Seaver Brown Funeral Service & Crematory (237 E Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A burial will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery (3171 Old Rich Valley Rd, Ceres, VA 24318).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sugar Grove Baptist 107 Dickeys Creek Rd, Sugar Grove, VA 24375 in honor of Ida's lifelong commitment to children, faith, and the work of the Sugar Grove Baptist WMU.
