With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Samuel Cook of Marion, Virginia, who passed away on March 20, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fred Cook, Sr. and Jettie Cook Duty; his daughter Sherri Cook; and his siblings, Irene Cook Steele and George F. Cook, Jr..

He is survived by: his grandson Hank; his son Scott Cook (Shannon) of Saltville; his grandchildren, Shelby Cook Mitchell (Dale) of Marion and Scottie Cook of Saltville Va; his sister Carol Cook Woodrum (David) of Marion; his stepchildren, Amanda Evans of Cedar Bluff and Adam Evans; his stepgranddaughter Amber; and his close friend Cynthia Bennett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 p. m. and follow the COVID-19 Safety & Social Distancing Guidelines.
